GES

Global Energy Storage (“GES Group”), is a successor to GPS Group, managed by the same experienced team. GES is owned and funded by Blue Water Energy. After its first investments, it is foreseen that the equity base of GES will increase through further commitments from BWE and its LP co-investors to fund additional projects, similar to the evolution of GPS Group. The goal is to invest c. USD 300 to 500 million in midstream assets. Like GPS, GES is an independent storage company, which will buy, build and operate an international network of first-class energy storage assets upholding the highest standards with regards to HSE and operational efficiency.

  • Green and blue hydrogen and ammonia​
  • Storage solutions for renewable energy ​
  1. Decarbonization:​
  • Biofuels​
  • Facilitation of CO2 transportation to ‘CO2 sinks’​
  1. Low-carbon, high-value hydrocarbon growth:​
  • Electrification (i.e. gas-to-power; e.g. displacing coal with LNG in Asia);​
  • LNG (regas);​
  • LPG, ethane;​
  • Ammonia and other chemicals​
